# About This Capsule

This capsule is hosted on flounder.online, an ultra-lightweight platform for making small websites that run on Gemini and HTTPS.

## Why Flounder?

Despite being an advocate of the decentralized web, I opted not to host this capsule from a home computer. The reasons for this are several:
* I'm too lazy to setup and maintain servers (port forwarding, dynamic DNS, etc..)
* I'm too lazy to setup security (firewall rules, VMs/containers/jails, etc..)
* I want the ability to edit content using just a phone (no SSH keys, SCP/FTP/Git, etc...)
* My internet connection at home is not reliable
* A DDoS attack targeting my public IP address would easily bring my home network down
